Rossul Design is a graphical user interface (GUI) design and communication design firm with extensive experience in the design and production of web-based applications and services as well as corporate marketing materials.
Explicitly results-oriented, we believe that design must be, first and foremost, usable. This approach has allowed us to successfully complete many projects - on time and on budget.
Our GUI and communication design experience is balanced with professional project management skills, from concept development to final production. Small and nimble, Rossul Design can offer both design and usability consulting without the costs of a large agency.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Rossul Design has private-sector clients in the fields of IT, finance, health and wellness and cosmetics, to name just a few. We've also worked with public organizations such as the Royal Ontario Museum.

Elia Kanaki, Founder
For almost 20 years, Elia Kanaki has been creating outstanding user experiences. An expert in user-oriented communication and GUI design, colour psychology and composition, Elia founded Rossul Design in 2003.
With his thorough understanding of the value of intuitive navigation and interfaces, Elia helps companies solve problems such as high bounce rates and e-commerce abandonment, improving the customer experience and increasing sales.
As a design strategist, Elia can translate complex ideas into simple and easy-to-use interfaces. Clients appreciate his ability to offer both design and usability consulting under one roof.
Prior to Rossul Design, Elia was the co-founder and VP of Company Development at Slangsoft, a firm specializing in intelligent Text Input and Display Platform (iTID) that helped facilitate foreign language input and display on handheld products. In 2002, Slangsoft was acquired by Research in Motion (RIM).
A graduate of the Academy of Applied Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia, Elia has a Masters of Applied Arts (MAA) in Applied Design.
