Intermediate UX Designer
Location: Toronto / Remote
Job Type: Full-Time one year contract
The Role
Rossul is looking for a creative and analytical Intermediate UX Designer to join our team. We specialize in making complex applications intuitive, and we are looking for a designer who enjoys a challenge.
You won’t just be making things “look pretty”—you will be solving architectural problems, simplifying dense workflows, and building enterprise-grade interfaces. If you are a Figma wizard who loves diving into logic, flows, and interaction design, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Design End-to-End: Create user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for complex web and mobile applications.
- Master Figma: Build and maintain scalable design systems using advanced Figma features (Auto-Layout, Components, Variables).
- Collaborate: Work closely with Senior Designers and clients to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Iterate: Refine designs based on feedback, usability testing, and technical constraints.
- Enforce Standards: Advocate for good design practices and Accessibility (A11y) standards across projects.
- Solve Real Problems: Deliver workable, easy-to-maintain solutions for real-life challenges.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in digital product design (Agency or Product side).
- Tool Mastery: Advanced command of Figma. You should be comfortable taking full advantage of advanced functionality (such as Variables) to build clean files that developers love to work with.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, not just final screenshots. We want to see how you solve problems.
- Communication: Strong ability to explain your design decisions clearly to the team and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points)
- B2B / Enterprise Experience: Previous experience designing for SaaS platforms, dashboards, or legacy system modernization.
- Gaming Experience: Experience in Game UI/UX is a huge plus. We value the ability to organize complex data and HUDs—skills that translate perfectly to our enterprise work.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
