User Engagement

Understanding what drives users to be engaged in the app is not a trivial task. To solve this problem, we found an extrinsic motivator which triggers the users’ desire for achievement and completion. This allows for the leveraging one of the most popular methods of increasing user engagement: the incentive to keep their “score” high. Attractive and powerful progress charts as well as reward systems add a playful element to healthy employee behaviour and establish a strong foundation for future integration into social networks.

Simplified Visual Communication

An effective visual communication, as well as simple interactions, are the key to success for any UI, but it is especially important for device control UI. Users must be able to glance over and get the full system status and use that as a basis for their following actions.

Enhanced Touch Controls

By isolating a user from all distractions when they adjust station settings, we minimize human errors and significantly enlarge touch zone. The larger zones make interacting with the device much easier and let dispatchers focus on their main tasks. Larger controls also play a vital role when an additional device such as a treadmill or a bicycle is used. It is much harder to use a touchscreen when your body is moving.

Intuitive UI Design

Common icons and colour codes that follow conventional layouts will seem less complex and more familiar to users. Intuitive UI leverages common solutions that users recognize so they can focus on completing their tasks.
