Project Description: Vista Health Solutions is a licensed NY insurance agency dedicated to meeting the needs of the self-employed and the small business owner. They provide clients with the most competitive health insurance plans available in New York. Rossul Design was contracted to deliver a complete website solution – both the front-end GUI and back-end database structure and quote system.

The Challenge

We had to create a very easy-to-use, user-friendly quote system. The challenge was to ensure that the users were only one click away from the information they needed. From the back-end side, the system had to be easily expandable to accept additional modules that might be added in the future.

The Plan

Rossul Design created a wizard system, simplifying the site down to only necessary functions so that site visitors could get a quote in less then 10 seconds. The design made certain that the quote system stood out and it was clear at first glance that users could use the tool to generate a hassle-free quote for themselves.

The Design

Rossul Design created a unique header design that boldly stated the brand. For the quote system we developed a three-step process: 1) information gathering page, which also serves as a homepage, 2) quote comparison page and 3) the application page. It is as simple as 1-2-3! The focus is on the quotation system, but access to additional information and pages are still at the visitors’ fingertips.

The Result

Exceedingly user friendly and intuitive, this is the easiest quote system on the Web today. A sophisticated back-end content management system (CMS) makes it a snap to update quotes and add new data into the tables.

Testimonial

At the end of 2003 my insurance brokerage decided that we needed to have an on-line presence. Actually we didn't have much of a choice. The marketplace was changing dramatically and we knew that more and more clients were choosing to purchase their insurance polices on-line. We offered our project to a few design firms, though initially we didn't choose Rossul design. Instead we went for a more "competitive"bid. What a big mistake that was on our part. that old adage "penny wise dollar foolish couldn't be more true. Well two months later and a web design project in utter shambles we decided to cut our losses short and drop that "competitive" design firm . Fortunately, we didn't make that mistake again. we approached rossul design with the project and just from the first consultation alone we knew that Elia Kanaki of Rossul Design was the man and firm that would take our company on-line. They really understood what we were trying to achieve but more importantly, they knew how to go about and implement it. We couldn't be happier with the web-design project and all of the additional work they had done for us over the past 5 years. they're very professional in all aspects of the work and most importantly it shows. one of the first things that our representative hear from our on-line shoppers is that our site looks great and is very easy for them to use. We very happy with our choice in design firm and will confidently continue to use their services

Wizard-Based Design

The prominent "required steps" wizard serves as both a site map and as a navigation function that illustrates the 1-2-3 quotation process.

New Logo

As part of the project, we created a new company logo that communicates a feeling of security and peace of mind. The new logo also serves to establish the company colour palette.

Strong Call-to-Action Design

Rossul Design made sure that every single page of the site had a call-to-action section in the form of a red “Get instant quote” button. Consistently located, the quote system is just one click away no matter where the user is on the site.
