Project Description: CardOne Plus is an electronic payment company that thrives on providing customized and flexible solutions worldwide. The company developed an advanced new eWallet system to integrate all card products into a simple, easy-to-use online interface. The eWallet combines new and existing debit cardholders with the latest product offerings, and allow funds to be transferred in multiple currencies between all accounts. Rossul Design has created highly usable and appealing Graphic User Interface for the new service.
The Challenge
The interface for eWallet had to help people use it on a day-by-day basis. In short, it had to be highly intuitive and suitable for people that are not tech savvy. As an added challenge, we had to design the site’s information structure based on an Excel file with a list of application functions.
The Plan
As with all Rossul Design plans, we created the graphical user interface around user experience. The primary goal was to create an environment where the user would have everything they needed to use eWallet to its fullest, no more than one click away!
The Design
Rossul Design created with a smart Dashboard View that operated as a starting point for users. As well, we developed a tool palette that changes content depending on page content and user preferences. This concept enables users to keep needed tools handy. Of course, we also designed custom icons to facilitate navigation. An existing blue/gray colour palette was updated to give the site a unique but familiar feel.
The Result
Not only is the client pleased with the end result, even better the customers find the interface easy to use and instantly understandable – a must when it comes to exchanging currencies, transferring funds or completing online transactions.
System Messages Icons
Custom icons were created for all system messages, such as Alert, Warning, Thank You and other messages. The icons are a friendly way of system communication with the user.
eWallet Logo
Rossul Design created a new logo for eWallet. The logo had to be self-explanatory and clearly communicate the message of product: eWallet acts as your handy, easy-to-use, online wallet.
Dashboard Bar
The Dashboard Bar puts all critical information and tools at user's fingertips. System notes, tools and messages are always easily accessible.
Custom Icons
Throughout the website, Rossul Design created custom icons. Each icon has an easily recognizable meaning, which communicates the desired message quickly and naturally.
Information Structure
Rossul Design implemented “Smart Zoning” on the eWallet website. Each function was given its own unique placement on the screen, and as a result usage of the application doesn't require any additional learning curve.
